I’m planning on doing a bit of shopping after work today. I tend to only buy makeup twice a year, when it’s on sale at Sephora during the spring and during the fall. This time around, I’ve got my eye on some makeup, skincare and fragrances that will be great for the warmer months ahead. Fingers crossed they won’t sell out! Here are all of my picks from this sale:
Beautyblender Main Squeeze Beauty Sponge and Cleanser Set – There are so many dupes for the Beautyblender sponge. But I’ve got to be honest – I’ve tried sooooo many different ones and hate them all. None compare to the original, which is so bouncy and light and gives your skin the most beautiful finish. My Beautyblender is looking a little rough for wear, so I definitely want to grab this value kit. The orange sponge is so cute!
Topicals High Roller Ingrown Hair Tonic – I have struggled basically for forever with ingrown hairs and bumps around my bikini line. No matter what I do, I can’t seem to avoid them! This product looks like a miracle worker. It seems to clear everything up after just a few applications, and the reviews are amazing. If it’s as good as everyone says, this serum will be an absolute lifesaver this summer.
Sol de Janeiro Bom Dia Bright Body Wash – This is a clarifying body wash with AHA and BHA. I’ve been drawn toward a lot of skincare and body products with AHA and BHA because I think they’re super effective at keeping my personal acne at bay. They keep my face matte and clear – I’m excited to see what this body wash will do for the rest of me!
Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen – If you have acne-prone skin, this is the SPF for you. Not only does it go on completely clear and completely matte, but it doesn’t break my forehead out. This is a daily staple in my skincare routine, so I’m grabbing a backup while it’s on sale!
Maison Margiela ‘REPLICA’ Beach Walk Travel Spray – This is my *favorite* fragrance for summer, and I’m picking up a travel spray for vacations I’ve got in the coming months. I’ve already gone through a different travel spray, and I’m almost done with my full-size bottle too. That’s how much I love it. It smells like a day at the beach – warm sun, salty water and luxurious sunscreen.
Dae Hibiscus Wave Spray – Are the beachy waves of the early 2010s back in? I’m going to give a resounding yes – yes, they are. I haven’t met a Dae product I don’t like, and I think the Hibiscus Wave Spray will follow suit. This product appears to give your hair that tousled, sexy, carefree look like you just spent the entire day by the water. I don’t like crunchy curls though, so I’m curious to see if this will still keep my hair soft.
Glow Recipe Strawberry BHA Pore-Smooth Blur Drops – I’ll be honest, I’m not entirely sure what these do. I think they’re supposed to make your pores look smaller and your skin overall appear clearer. What I do know is that I love the Glow Recipe strawberry serum. And if these drops are anything like that serum – which is incredible for acne-prone skin types – it’s going to be *chef’s kiss*.
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Pink Pop – My Charlotte Tilbury Glow Wand in Pinkgasm is one of my top 5 favorite beauty products in my entire collection. I wear it basically every single day, and it gives the glowiest, most gorgeous color to the cheeks. These wands are the matte blush version. The pale pink color has caught my eye, and I can’t wait to give it a try.
Dior Addict Lip Glow Balm in Coral Pink – I have raved about these on my blog and Instagram so much. They’re truly my perfect lipstick – glossy and sheer with the right amount of color payoff. They’re comfortable on the lips and leave a beautiful stain behind when they fade. Coral Pink is going to be a super fun pop of color for the summertime. It’s going to look gorgeous with a tan!
Merit Bronze Balm Sheer Sculpting Bronzer in Clay – I absolutely adore the Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand. But I wanted to add something that’s a bit more like a true bronzer to my collection. I much prefer cream face products during the warmer months for a glowy, fresh makeup look. This bronzer stick looks like it will deliver a no-fuss, beachy, sunkissed look that I’ll be obsessed with all season long. I love the packaging too!
Herbivore Aquarius BHA + Blue Tansy Clarifying Cleanser – This is another product with BHA! I didn’t lie when I said I’ve been on a kick with them lately. I think this cleanser will be perfect for combatting acne and keeping my oily skin type under control as the weather starts to heat up.
