My name is Bekah, and welcome to my blog – The Bekah Boutique.
The name of my blog comes from my wonderful mother and what she would say almost every time she walked into my bedroom growing up. She would take one look at my near-exploding closet and say, “Wow! It’s like Bekah’s Boutique in there.”
I’m not sure where my love of shopping came from, but I’ve had it deep within me from a very early age. Nothing delights me more than finding an iconic dress, a handmade pair of shoes or a beautiful leather bag. I have taken meticulous pride in crafting the perfect wardrobe for me over the years. I used to struggle getting dressed each morning, and I realized it was because I was pretty ‘meh’ about the items I owned. Now, I look forward to what I am going to wear for the day. It’s thrilling and fun.
It was certainly a process to basically clear out everything I owned and start from scratch. But it was a shift in mindset for me – going from collecting all the clothes I could when I was in college to carefully choosing pieces that would be in my wardrobe for years to come as a woman in her 20s. Throughout this process, I have learned so many tips and tricks on how to find the best items for the best prices, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
With this blog, I hope to provide you with content and products that inspire you to dive head-first into developing your own personal style and creating your own dream closet. I’ll share guides on how to shop smarter, an up-to-date curation of the best fashion and beauty bits on the market, outfit inspiration, information on the best sales and more.
