New Early Fall Fashion Finds Under $50

If you’ve been itching for a taste of early fall fashion at a budget price, this is the post for you. There are so many cute new arrivals out right now, and I just had to share my favorites under $50.

These are all fantastic pieces that will help transition your wardrobe from summer to fall, especially as we get closer to the end of August. And you don’t need to break the bank to do it. I’m so impressed with look and quality of the clothes, shoes and accessories that affordable retailers such as H&M, Mango, Madewell and & Other Stories have been releasing.

I think pretty much everything I’ve chosen appears a lot more expensive than it’s price tag, which is always a great sign. Every autumn, my style turns a little more edgy-preppy-Gossip Girl inspired, and these items all are a reflection of that.

I’ve already ordered this check pleated skirt from Mango and this striped Breton top from & Other Stories. Mango, in my opinion, makes some of the best skirts for fall. This one is absolutely gorgeous for the price and is going to become a staple in my closet for the colder months. You also can never go wrong with a classic striped top. I wore *so* many stripes in my 2015 college days that I was bored of them for awhile. But now, my love has been renewed.

For other clothing items that caught my eye, there’s something about this halter knit top that looks so lovely for early fall. I think it’s the perfect way to balance wanting to wear knitwear but it still being at least 75 degrees outside. This plaid blazer is an excellent price and makes a wonderful outerwear option for days that are only slightly chilly. I’d pair this with a turtleneck, a mini skirt and some black boots to round out the look.

Lately I’ve been gravitating toward more neutrals, especially in my accessories. And as fall approaches, black and brown will continue to be featured in an even greater amount. Both these black Chelsea boots and Valentino-inspired Mary Jane heels look so sleek to me. You can wear them with any outfit, and I love the polished, clean vibe they would bring. This mini shoulder bag also screams minimalism in the best way – it’s glossy and looks high end for a fraction of the price. I’m not normally into shoulder-length straps, but I’m debating grabbing this because it seems so stunning.

For brown accessories, I think this tote bag is perfection. It’s clearly Bottega-inspired, but it doesn’t appear cheap or over-the-top. This would make a great work or school bag for the fall. These sunglasses are so fun. I would feel like a movie starlet wearing them. The rich caramel color updates them to be more modern and adds to the sophistication of the cat eye shape.

You can’t forget a good nail polish or some jewelry for the finishing touch. I’ve adored butterflies ever since I was a little girl, and this Madewell necklace is seriously too cute. It will add a touch of sweetness when paired with something tougher like a leather jacket for a wonderfully balanced outfit. And this muted mauve nail polish from Chanel is one of those little luxuries you can treat yourself too without feeling like you splurged too much. This shade is ideal for the transition from summer to fall – it’s a little moody but still feels appropriate for August.
