Happy Friday everyone! Today I am sharing all of my clothing, shoes and accessory favorites from Amazon that are under $50.
I was pretty hesitant to ever order randomly-branded clothes or shoes off of Amazon because it was hard to tell what they were actually going to be like. They all seemed SheIn-esque in quality, which made me nervous. But after doing some digging and finding a lot of amazing pieces at great prices, I am glad I took the chance. This is unsponsored (although Amazon if you are reading, I would love to work with you lol!) so everything is my honest opinion.
I have a few self-explanatory tips when browsing the fashion side of Amazon. The first is to always pay attention to the reviews. If it doesn’t have more than 4 stars, I don’t even click on it. I typically filter my searches that way so I can get the best of what’s out there.
The next is to head to the reviews, specifically for the photos. There are so many times when I think a dress or a bag looks wonderful in the stock images, and then someone posts that it *actually* looks terrible in real life. If you are someone who posts those photos – just know you are the best. It saves me so much time.
And third, try to only buy items that have Prime shipping or free returns. That way you can easily send back anything you don’t love so it doesn’t end up taking up precious space in your closet.
How sweet is this dress I am wearing? I love that you can style it off-the-shoulder or on the shoulder with the darling puff sleeves. I was really impressed with the quality of the dress. Amazon is hit or miss at times, but this is a definite hit. The dress is lined and fits true to size. I am wearing a medium here for reference! The fabric has a soft cotton feel to it.
I think the smocking and ruffle are the neckline are quite flattering, too. The way the smocking is banded really emphasizes your waist, which helps the dress from looking too cutesy or childish.
The pattern is also just perfect for spring – it’s a subtle pink and white striped background with pretty florals dotted throughout. There are more colors available if you’re not into pink. I also grabbed the neutral tan/cream one to try, but I ended up keeping the pink. The neutral was just as lovely!
My raffia sandals are from The Drop on Amazon. If you’re looking for a stylish, inexpensive slide to bop around in, these are for you. They run true to size, and I am wearing an 8 here. I think they’ll need a bit of breaking in before they are fully comfortable, but they’re definitely not painful to wear.
Raffia/wicker/woven materials are one of those things that are timeless but also super trendy right now, so Amazon is a great option for testing it out if you’re not sure you’ll love the style for decades to come. I like how these slides are Hermes-inspired, and I think they look flattering on the foot. Overall, they’re a fun sandal choice for vacations, errands, going to lunch, etc. for the price. They’ll also go with pretty much anything in your spring/summer wardrobe.
This bag is not from Amazon (it’s Francesca’s – sold out right now but I’ll keep an eye out and post on my Instagram when it’s back in stock). But Amazon is the place to look if you want some wicker/raffia/woven bags for the warm weather months. Every bag I’ve tried so far is superb quality for being well under $50 in most cases.
I’ve shown this particular bag in several blog posts over the month, and it gets a full 5 star rating from me. It’s extremely well made and looks/feels way more expensive than it is. As of me posting it, you can grab it for $18. That is nuts!! I think I paid around $40 at the time, so at $18 I’d be sprinting for it. I think I might get the black version at that price!
I’m sharing the rest of my spring Amazon favorites in the carousel below. If you are looking for even more of my picks, you can check out my shop page. I have a whole tab dedicated to Amazon under $50!
