If you’re anything like me, your TikTok For You page is probably filled with dozens and dozens of beauty and fashion videos. With so much content to consume (and a lot of it based around purchasing products), it can be difficult to tell what’s actually worth the hype it gets and what is not. The same problem existed back when YouTube was the hot platform to get all the latest makeup news, and I like to think I’ve become a pro over the years at sniffing out the best of what everyone says is the best.
Today, I’m sharing a handful of viral TikTok beauty products I’ve personally purchased that, in my opinion, really are as good as everyone claims them to be. So if you’ve been curious about the chances of you finding a new holy-grail item to try on social media, I’m giving the products below my seal of approval.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter – I’ve mentioned this product before on my blog. It’s one of my go-to, holy grail items that I incorporate into my routine when I’m going for something more full coverage. If you love that lit-from-within, glowy makeup, then you’re going to love this product. It’s somewhere between a primer, a highlighter and a tinted moisturizer. You can wear it alone, pair it with your favorite foundation, or just add it to the places on your face that you want to have an extra bit of glow. This product also doesn’t lie by including “Flawless” in the name – it blurs pores like a social media filter and creates an angelic canvas for the rest of your makeup. Definitely worth the hype!
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops – I am a huge fan of Glow Recipe in general. I own several of their products and think all-around that they’re a fantastic, high-quality brand. This particular serum has gone viral on TikTok for being ultra hydrating and providing that ethereal look to the skin. Again, if you love your face to look positively glowing, this is the product for you. I typically apply this as part of my nightly skincare routine, and in the morning, my face looks more awake and alive. There’s that fresh-from-a-facial shine to the skin that makes this serum 100% worth it. And, the serum actually does smell like watermelon. It’s absolutely delightful.
Kosas Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer and Daytime Eye Cream – If you love for your makeup to do double-duty, then you’re going to be as obsessed with this concealer as the rest of the Internet is. The Kosas Super Creamy Concealer works overtime as both a concealing weapon and a skincare savior. The concealer itself is a dream – it’s moisturizing, easy to blend, medium coverage, doesn’t crease throughout the day, comes in a wide shade range, and doesn’t dry too matte or too shiny. But the skincare formulation built into the product is what makes it truly magical. It contains hyaluronic acid, peptides, caffeine, arnica and pink algae extract. This combo fights dark circles and puffiness, hydrates the skin and visibly makes it plumper, and calms any blemishes or redness. I’ve been reaching for it constantly lately, and I notice a big difference in my skin’s overall health.
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand – Getting my hands on this contour wand felt like winning the lottery. I’ve been searching for it for months, and every time I’d pop into Sephora or search on the Charlotte Tilbury website, it was perpetually sold out. I was beginning to think these don’t actually exist and were just a figment of my imagination. But somehow over the Sephora sale, I was finally able to snag one. And let me tell you – it was worth the wait. If you’re a big fan of the brand’s other blush and highlighter wands, you’ll adore the contour version. The product is pigmented, blends like a dream and gives the perfect bronze to the face. It doesn’t turn your face orange, nor does it turn muddy when you blend it. Every time I wear this contour, I’m surprised at how great my makeup looks when I happen to catch myself in the mirror. I’d highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone.
Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Liquid Blush – Liquid blush has been blowing up on TikTok, and this one from Rare Beauty is a fan-favorite. I didn’t give Selena Gomez’s makeup line much of a thought when it first launched. I feel overwhelmed by the amount of celebrity makeup and skincare products that I kind of have blinders on to them all. But after seeing the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush all over social media for months, I was finally influenced enough to give it a try. And it’s definitely worth the hype. I have always preferred cream blushes to powders, so liquid blush immediately claimed a place in my heart. It’s super blendable and looks so delicate and feminine on the cheeks. You need a light touch when applying this product, though. A tiny dot is more than enough. One tube of this will likely last years, even if you wear it every day.
Sol De Janeiro Brazillian Crush Cheirosa ’40 Bom Dia Hair & Body Fragrance Mist – I am quite picky about my fragrances and tend to only rotate through the same handful of perfumes. I absolutely love the original scent of the Sol De Janeiro sprays. So when I saw everyone raving about this Cheirosa ’40 version on TikTok, I knew I had to try it. This scent is absolutely *perfect* for fall and winter. It’s flirty, it’s fruity, but it has a warmth to it to ground it and add more sophistication. I like to think of this spray as the grown-ups version of a Victoria’s Secret body spray. The Cheirosa ’40 scent is just as sensual but feels (and smells) much more elegant, elevated and expensive. Plus – you can spritz it in your hair, too. Everyone will be asking what you use when they go in for a hug this holiday season. This will be an immediate repurchase once I run out!
Dior Lip Glow Oil – If you read my blog regularly, you’ll already know of my deep love for the Dior Lip Glow products. I own several of the balms and a couple of the glosses, but I’ve never been able to find the Lip Oil in stock. Again, thanks to it’s extreme popularity on TikTok, finding a Dior Lip Oil is like finding a unicorn in the wild. It must have been a belated birthday present for me, because the same day I found the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Contour Wand during the Sephora sale was the same day I finally grabbed a Dior Lip Glow Oil. And these are every bit as good as the Internet said they would be. If you love that glossy, bitten type of lip color, these are right up your alley. The Lip Glow Oil is super moisturizing, not at all sticky and provides a sheer wash of color that adjusts to your natural lip color. You’ll feel like the coolest, chicest girl pulling it out of your bag to apply it, too.
