What I Got For Christmas 2022

I have been watching “What I Got for Christmas” hauls on TikTok literally nonstop since the holiday. I absolutely love them!! I’ve been a massive fan of these types of videos since the old YouTube days. I looked forward to watching them in 2011 almost as much as I did opening my own gifts under the tree.

I thought some of you may also be ultra-curious what other people received this holiday season. I’ve always wanted to do a Christmas haul, so what the heck. I’m joining in on the fun via blog post here today. 🙂

I have to be honest – I was absolutely spoiled this year by all of my loved ones. I am so grateful for the kindness, love and generosity of everyone who thought of me and bought me a present. I am obsessed with everything, and I can’t wait to use/wear what I received!

I omitted some smaller things like candy and little stocking stuffers, but this is a majority of my actual wrapped presents I opened on Christmas. Most of the gifts are from my parents, my sister and her husband, my boyfriend and my boyfriend’s wonderful family. I also received some lovely gift cards from extended family.

I had a handful of “big” gifts from everyone, including this absolutely gorgeous Kate Spade pearl bag, the black Veja Campo sneakers I have been dying for for months, this incredible Agua by Agua Bendita floral midi dress, a Hill House velvet nap dress and the Solawave skincare tool (I can’t wait to try it!!!). Everything has just blown me out of the water, and I’m so thrilled with it all.

Strangely enough, I think one of my favorite gifts this year is the viral Stanley cup. I have had my eye on this for months, and I can’t wait to see what all the hype is about. The light pink color is so pretty. I also was gifted a monogram Anthropologie mug, these art deco champagne coupe glasses and these colorful wine glasses that are so stunning! They remind me of the Estelle glasses at a fraction of the price.

I received several books this year, including this Half Baked Harvest cookbook, another Half Baked Harvest cookbook, the Little Book of Dior and the Little Book of Prada that I am so excited to read and use. Other “home” items I got are fragrance-based – a Yankee Candle diffuser with different oils to go with it and a Nest reed diffuser oil, as well.

For beauty items, I opened several Dae hair products that I have never tried before, including the Monsoon Moisture Milk Shampoo, the Monsoon Moisture Conditioner, the Prickly Pear Hair + Body Mist, and the Vegan Detangle + Style Brush. I am sooooo pumped for this hairbrush. The lone brush I own right now is from Dollar Tree, and while there’s nothing wrong with that, I’m excited for an upgrade! I also received a Dior Lip Glow in the shade Miss Dior, as well as the Backstage Glow Face Palette

To round it out, I opened a few Amazon items that were on my wishlist that I was hoping to get. The first is a travel jewelry case – I love that it has a spot for stud earrings! Next is a zip top train case, which will be a more sophisticated solution to traveling with my makeup. And the last is this set of gold claw clips. I have a plastic one from Target that I’ve been wearing constantly, so I’m very happy to have some prettier options.

This truly was the best Christmas ever, and I’m so grateful for everything and everyone in my life. I hope that all of you had an amazing holiday, as well! I’m linking everything I mentioned in the carousel below in case something piqued your interest.
