2023 Gift Guide For The Home

Can you believe it’s Friday again? Where is the time going? How is Thanksgiving already next week?? I feel like November is flying – which means the holidays really are right around the corner. I am back today with another installment in my annual gift guide series – my 2023 Gift Guide For The Home. If you missed any of my other 2023 gift guides, you can check them out here – 2023 Gift Guide For Beauty Lovers and 2023 Gift Guide For Chic Girls.

If you’re shopping for any females in your life who love cooking, baking, crafting new cocktails, entertaining, or just moved into a new apartment or home, I hope you will find these ideas inspiring and helpful. As always, I spent a lot of time researching on the internet for the perfect presents, and they all get my stamp of approval. They’re all either things I already own and adore or are things I would be thrilled to receive as a gift this year.

Let’s get into the gifts!

Anthropologie Lydia Wine Glasses, Mixed Set of 4 – I mentioned this in last week’s gift guide, but I am obsessed with beautiful glassware. I actually purchased this set of wine glasses for myself as a birthday present this year. And I absolutely LOVE them. They’re made of such high quality glass that has a lovely weight to them. The selection of colors are stunning, and they work together so well as a set. I adore the touch of shimmer these have when they catch the light. This is an elegant-but-youthful gift to give that will be under $50 for the entire set as a part of Anthropologie’s Black Friday sale. They usually do 30% off everything each year, which I’m expecting for 2023 as well.

H&M 2-pack Metal Napkin Rings in Pink Bow – I am obsessed with all things bow-related this year. And these precious sparkly bow napkin rings are just so adorable! This is the perfect smaller gift or stocking stuffer for any woman in your life who loves to host and entertain. They’re under $13 for the pair and should have some kind of an additional discount come Black Friday. You could add some cloth napkins and their favorite bottle of wine to create an easy but lovely gift.

Anthropologie Valeria Coupe Glass – How fun are these?! If you have anyone in your life who recently moved into a new home/apartment, just turned 21, or simply loves aesthetic drinkware, these glasses are the perfect present option. I’m obsessed with the heart shape and have these on my own Christmas wish list this year, as well. They just scream sophisticated girly-girl in the best way. The price is for one glass, but if you wait for Black Friday, they’ll go an extra 30% off.

Amazon Hydrangea Embroidered White Cocktail Napkins – This is another fabulous and affordable present idea for anyone who loves to host or entertain, or for the homebody who loves to treat herself to little luxuries. I purchased these napkins during the most recent Prime Day sale, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. The quality of these cocktail napkins for the price is gorgeous, and the hydrangea embroidery really elevates them. They look and feel far more expensive than they actually are – under $22 for a set of 6. If you decide to purchase these, you will not be disappointed. They make an easy stocking stuffer, a lovely addition to a bottle of their favorite spirit or even paired alongside a cocktail recipe book.

Lou Rata Twelve Days of Christmas Dessert Plate in 7 Swans – I’m not usually a Christmas-specific dinnerware person. I like to purchase items that can be used in my kitchen all-year-round. But there’s just something about these Twelve Days of Christmas dessert plates from Anthropologie that are calling my name. I think these would make such a fabulous present with their absolutely stunning artwork and attention to detail. If you are buying for an animal lover, there are several to choose from – a partridge, turtle doves, French hens, birds, deer, geese, highland cows, ladybugs, leopards, penguins, and fish. But my favorite out of the whole group has to be the swans. I’ve asked my fiancé for some of these plates this year! They’re currently on sale for under $15 each.

Etsy Hand Painted Floral Taper Candles – If you are looking for a trendy-yet-timeless home gift for the woman in your life, a set of hand painted taper candles is a wonderful option. Taper candles and candlestick holders have been absolutely everywhere this year on social media. They’re an easy way to add detail and express your personality in your living area, particularly in smaller apartments that don’t have a ton of space or the option to change things like paint colors. Taper candles are an “it” gift of the moment, but they’re also extremely useful. I’m partial to these blue floral painted ones, but the options are literally endless on Etsy.

H&M Metal Salad Servers in Gold – I think H&M is a very underrated store for homeware. I’ve owned several different things from them over the years, and they have all held up beautifully for the price. If you have a smaller budget but still want to give elegant and tasteful presents, H&M is a fab place to shop. Another option for the hostess in your life, these shiny gold salad servers are a fail-proof gift idea. They would work for both a minimalist and a maximalist. I think they appear far more expensive than they are (under $22 and likely cheaper for Black Friday). Plus, they’re another gift that’s very useful to have.

Anthropologie Fiddlehead Fern Taper Candle Holder – Not only are taper candles a big gift this year, but intricate and unexpected candle holders are, as well. These golden floral taper candle holders from Anthropologie are insanely pretty. I feel like this is the type of gift you never think to get yourself, but once you have it, you are obsessed and use them all the time. These would look so beautiful on a kitchen table or as an accent in someone’s living room. Golden floral candlestick holders would be a lovely gift for any female. But if you have a plant-lover in your life, these would be such a thoughtful showstopper. They’re currently an extra 40% off once you add them to your cart.

H&M Red Floral Porcelain Dinner Plate – How stunning are these plates?! I literally can’t get over how gorgeous they are. These would make such an incredible gift for the price. They look so detailed and expensive. I’ve owned several H&M porcelain plates over the years, and they are very high quality for what you are paying. These have a slight Christmas-feel to them because of the red. But I think you could get away with using them year-round depending on how you style your tablescape. They very easily would work for fall, and I think spring and summer too with lighter accents. I am honestly tempted to purchase a set for myself. They’re under $13 a plate and will be even more discounted for Black Friday.

Emile Henry French Ceramic Ruffled Heart Dish – A heart-shaped baking dish that’s inspired by vintage French bakeware; does not chip, crack or craze over time; is microwave, oven, broiler, freezer and dishwasher safe; is handcrafted in France; AND is under $60? Yes please, sign me up. This ceramic ruffled heart dish is to-die-for. If anyone wants to buy me a present this year, and they don’t know what to get me – this is the one. Think of the insanely gorgeous cakes and pies you could bake in this dish. It would look stunning on a table, too. I feel like any baker you have in your life would be obsessed with this, just as I am. I can’t stop thinking about it!

Crock-Pot Artisan Enamel Cast Iron Dutch Oven in Blush Pink – I received a Dutch oven for Christmas a couple of years ago, and it has become one of my most loved and used presents. I use mine constantly for making different soups and breads. As silly as it sounds, having one in a beautiful color makes cooking with it all the more fun and enjoyable. It looks lovely on my stove while I’m using it. This particular Dutch oven is the prettiest shade of blush pink, and it’s also very affordable. It’s under $40 and has excellent reviews!

Rifle Paper Co. Peacock Wool-Hooked Rug – An area rug might seem like a strange gift to purchase someone, but I can’t say enough good things about the Rifle Paper Co. area rugs. I have purchased two of them for my home, and I just ADORE them. They have added the perfect touch of color, pattern and personality to my living room and my bedroom. They’re high quality, come in gorgeous designs, and they are available in an array of sizes to fit any space. This peacock one is so lovely – I like that it’s neutral but still with an interesting pop of print. I’d buy it in a runner-style to use in a hallway. These rugs feel like luxe heirlooms at a much lower price point.

Maison Dupre French Match Strike – This is another fab stocking stuffer idea or as a smaller gift along with a candle and a pretty book of matches. As a candle lover, I am constantly searching for lighters around my home. I’d love to own an aesthetic match strike that I could just leave out alongside my décor to use whenever I needed. This one has an elegant, vintage French feel to it. It’s also under $25!

Linum Home Textiles Embroidered 2-Pack Hand Towel in Pink Bow – Okay, these say that they are kids’ towels, but I don’t believe it for a second. They have the measurements of regular hand towels, and the design is too darling to be resigned just to children. If you have a super girly, pink-loving 20-something you’re trying to buy for, these towels are perfection. They’ll dress up any bathroom and add the perfect touch of personality. I’m tempted to get some myself. They’re currently on sale for under $23.
