Summer may be coming to an end soon, but at least in my mind, there is still plenty of time left for sunshine, beach trips, water parks and swimming. Honestly if I could control the weather, I would probably just flip-flop between summer and fall all year long. They’re definitely my favorite two seasons.
In case you have any late-season getaways planned before the leaves turn, I have rounded up the best swim picks! The best part is that the majority of them are on sale. That’s one of my biggest tips for building a dream wardrobe on a budget – keep your eye on the things you *love* all season long, and then wait for them to go on super sale in August. Sometimes I even order them at full price to check that I love the fit before committing to it later on sale, as some end-of-season sales are final. There’s nothing more annoying than buying something you can’t return that doesn’t fit you.
While the dress I am wearing here isn’t on sale, I cannot recommend it enough. If you purchase one thing from this post, it should be this dress. I have worn it so much, I am highly considering purchasing it in the pale blue color.
This dress is a part of the famed Nap Dress collection by Hill House, although it’s a different style from the iconic cotton poplin midi version. It’s a pretty mermaid- and seashell-printed French terry mini dress with a halter neckline and smocked bodice. This is the ultimate dress for any summer adventure – you can wear it to the pool, to lunch, out shopping, hanging out at home, etc. And it’s so soft and comfortable. Terry is sometimes a little rough to the touch, but not this dress! It’s a dream. This is going to be a favorite of mine for many summers to come.
