One of my favorite things to do every single day is browse through the new arrivals on The Real Real. I have found some serious secondhand gems on there throughout my time shopping on the site (like this Vivetta animal-printed dress, this Prada plaid mini dress, and my favorite Miu Miu Mary Janes). It’s kind of like treasure hunting – some days you find absolutely nothing, and some days you strike gold! Today I thought it would be fun to share what’s currently on my The Real Real wish list as I start to think about the transition to fall fashion coming up very soon.
Number one at the tippy-top of my list right now is this gorgeous pink Giambattista Valli bow and bell-sleeve mini dress in the prettiest coral pink. I think it’s most helpful to browse The Real Real without a goal in mind. You kind of have to let the finds find you, if that makes sense. That’s exactly what happened with this dress, and I can’t stop thinking about it! I’m picturing it paired with the aforementioned Miu Miu Mary Janes and a ladylike handbag in the early fall. My birthday is in October, and I also think this would make such a darling and fab birthday dress. If it’s already sold by the time I publish this, it’s because I bought it LOL.
A few other dresses that are hanging out on my wish list are this stunning burgundy silk Zimmermann wrap dress and a Brock Collection lace midi dress in black. Both of these would be amazing staples for an autumn wardrobe. The burgundy silk wrap dress would definitely be the most versatile of the two for me personally. I tend to prefer mini dresses in the colder months because I think they pair more easily with boots or tights. But how special would the lace midi be for a special occasion? It’s not a dress, but I’m also obsessed with this feather mini skirt! It’s from Vivetta, and I would just love to have this for fall. My only concern is the sizing as it’s final sale. Sometimes a size 6 is a smidge too snug in Euro sizing, so I’m still debating on this one!
I constantly discover the *best* shoes on The Real Real. It’s where I purchase all of my designer footwear because the selection and prices are both unbeatable. These Jimmy Choo riding boots are just slightly over $150 and soooo classic. I also love these Tory Burch ones in a rich chocolate brown that are around the same price point. For heels, I am dreaming about these Prada bow heels that are under $150. They would look so pretty with the Giambattista Valli dress! I also have had these silver Miu Miu Mary Janes on my wish list for quite some time I love the cutout detail on the side of the heel. They’re still a bit of a splurge, but I know I’d get a ton of wear out them. I might save up for a bit and see if they’re still there in a few months.
